![]() ![]() I'm just not convinced that Toyota the motor company want it enough though. I've always seen Toyota as a fundamentally good ship that just needs steering in the right direction and Dave Richards, having already done such a thing at BAR to prepare for the Honda buyout, would be just the man to streamline and sort it out. Just an idea, but one which may work for them. (Naka) and save some face by saying it is not a "FULL FACTORY" effort. This way, they could keep a Japense driver in the seat. TTE saw this toward the end of their WRC days, Prodrive have seen similar from Subaru, Mitsubishi likewise when they took a lot of the control away from Ralliart UK. That would be my decision.as it is clear that any motorsport venture from a japanese car manufacturer seems to need a European partner to work really well? The more decisions come from Japan, the less sccessful the venture becomes. They hand over the entire operation to Prodrive to run "a la Mclaren" and the team becomes Prodrive Toyota, along with an S2000 World Rally Programme?
